Classes at Grit & Grog Clay Co.

Hands shaping clay on a pottery wheel

Four weeks. Muddy hands. Real momentum.

What’s included (aka: you can exhale):

  • Unlimited clay during class + your weekly practice time

  • All tools provided

  • No stress about flops — experimenting is part of the deal, and it’s all covered in your monthly cost

  • Glaze provided

  • Open Studio Practice — Attend one open studio session each week to practice what you’ve learned—this is where the real magic happens. Choose Tuesdays or Thursdays from 5–8 PM, or Sundays from 11 AM–2 PM.

Our 4-week classes are designed to give you real time at the wheel or table — not just a taste, but a rhythm. You’ll meet once a week for guided instruction, plus you’ll get space each week to come back in and practice on your own.

No pressure. No perfection. Just clay, consistency, and community.

What a 4-Week Class Looks Like

Enough time to actually learn—not just survive your first spin.

Our four-week pottery classes are designed to give you repetition, instruction, and enough wheel time for things to start making sense.

You’ll meet with the same small group each week while we build on what you learned the week before. We’ll demonstrate techniques, help troubleshoot when the clay decides not to cooperate, and give you plenty of room to practice.
