Midday Makers
This is pottery class with a little more breathing room.
For eight weeks, we’ll spend three hours together each week exploring both the wheel and handbuilding. I’ll bring a stand-alone project or skill to the table every session, but this is not a follow-the-sample-or-else situation.
Want to make the project? Great.
Want to change it completely? Also great.
Already have an idea rattling around in your head? Bring it.
This is a small-group, high-support class, which means you’ll have plenty of access to instruction while still having room to experiment, make mistakes, start over, and figure out what kind of pottery you actually like making.
It’s especially good for:
• True beginners who want more support than a one-time class
• Returning students who want to keep building skills
• People who like both wheel throwing and handbuilding
• Anyone looking for a creative weekday routine and a group of people to make things with
Each week stands on its own, so missing one session won’t leave you hopelessly behind.
Class will meet 9/9, 9/16, 9/23, 9/30, 10/7, 10/14, 10/21, 10/28
Eight weeks. Three hours a week. Clay, tools, instruction, and a table full of people figuring it out together.
